How do I return a parcel?
Yodel works with many retailers to offer Return to Yodel Store services. You will either receive a returns slip with your original parcel delivery or you can check on our website to see if we return parcels to a specific Retailer. In some instances there may be a charge for the return label; this price is set by the Retailer. Each parcel will need its own unique label. To get a returns label click here. When you drop your parcel into a Yodel Store you will be given a paper receipt with a tracking reference (it will be 7 characters/digits) and you can use this to track your parcel as it makes its way back to the Retailer.
If you download the Yodel Parcel Tracker app and scan your return parcel you don’t have to retain the paper receipt as the app will store all your parcel information. You can even book your Returns in the Yodel Parcel Tracker app. Download it here to get started .

Nespresso Recycling
What is a Nespresso capsule?
Nespresso machines are a form of coffee maker that brew delicious espressos and lungo (much like an espresso but with more water), via the use of individual capsules. These capsules come in a variety of flavours, ranging from round and balanced, to elegant and roasted.
Nespresso capsules are made from single-serve aluminium that can be recycled right here with Yodel, helping to avoid unnecessary landfill and other environmental issues. By teaming up with Nespresso, we hope to help Nestlé continue its great work in the coffee industry, while also helping to make the world a more efficient and sustainable place.

Yes, Nespresso recycling is 100% free.
Can I put Nespresso capsules in the recycling?
Nespresso capsules cannot be put in your normal, household recycling bins. That's why Nespresso has teamed-up with Yodel, enabling you to put your used capsules in a bespoke recycling bag before dropping them off at one of our thousands of collection points nationwide.
Are Nespresso capsules recyclable?
Yes, but only if you dispose of your used Nespresso capsules correctly.
This means either putting them in a bespoke recycling bag and dropping them off at your nearest Yodel Store, or Nespresso boutique, or by arranging a collection via the Nespresso recycling page.
What is done with the recycled aluminium and coffee grounds?
First, the Nespresso capsule will be shredded, and separated out into coffee remains and aluminium. The coffee remains go on to be used as soil improver, while the aluminium capsules will be melted down and made into large blocks called ingots. Each ingot contains about 1.6 million cans-worth of aluminium. These are then made into drinks cans and other household consumables, such as foil.
Why recycle Nespresso capsules?
If you don't recycle your aluminium Nespresso capsules, chances are they will end up at a landfill site. This can have serious ecological effects.
Recycling gives another life to materials that would otherwise sit in landfill, and is a responsibility we should all embrace. Not only does recycling help to protect ecology, but it can reduce our consumption of raw materials too.
